I´m educated at Högskolan för Design och Konsthantverk, Master of Art and Craft, department, fiberart in Gothenburg, Sweden, but has during the ten last year been working with glass.I have participated in severel workshops and courses; casting with hot and cold glass, fusing, experimenting on flatglass, flamework and so on.My procedure is based on materials, but all my artistic work is built on thoughts and ideas. The exhibitionsituation/room is very imported to me since I want to create an entirety with my separate glass objects. In many of the projects I´ve been working with my intension has been to try to transfer the feeling of "Presence" which i think textile material emanate to the glass more anonymous character. One of the projects you´ll see in my images is "Textile glass". It´s one of my own techniques I have developed in wich I process glass-wool with textile techniques and thereafter burn it in a glasskiln until everything but the glass has melted. I think it´s interesting that "Textile glass" become a unique mix in between Glass and Textile. It´s textile and glass but at the same time the glassobjects becomes to be something different, something of it´s own.
